Men's Style Shakeup

Gentlemen, your mission, should you choose to accept it,
is to stop looking like Wally in the 'Dilbert' cartoons. Ladies, your mission is to help them!

Rokovoko asked Shari Shakun, vice president of
SmartBargains.com, if she could help make you look
like money, for less money.

These were her thoughts:

"A velvet blazer is one wardrobe staple that never goes out of style -- and perfect for this time of year. Stay away from black as it tends to look too formal. Instead, go for navy, which works well with jeans, khakis or a nice pair of grey dress pants. One of the best looks this season is to pair the velvet blazer with a cashmere crewneck sweater, a
basic white button-down underneath, and a great pair of jeans (another fashion must-have). Finish off the look with a tan suede slip-on and you're good to go to a fine restaurant, a holiday party, or Sunday brunch!

"Another great look for men this season, and a great alternative to khakis, is a nice pair of soft corduroy pants paired with a t-shirt and cashmere sweater."

She said think tan, black, or blue, or, for the more trendy and
adventurous, berry or grape shades.

"Finish off the look with a sporty, lace-up Oxford shoe and you'll
look stylish without trying too hard," she advised.
