Previously a student of psychology,  Yiyí Gutz, of Madrid, enrolled at IADE to study fashion design. She became a professional designer in 2003, as part of the Me % Co. team, for both men's and
w o m e n ' s collections.

Her own brand is inspired by the arts, science, and philosophy, but also

 her

f e e l i n g s  

and

experiences.

Gutz's prêt-à-porter collections feature high-quality fabric in elaborate patterns. The results are at once sophisticated

 and natural, a comfortable, attractive 

style that elbows urban

t r e n d s.

Having worked as an illustrator and  g r a p h i c designer, Gutz often elaborates
her prints with small
stamped
s y m b o l s
and geometric
s h a p e s complementing sweeping solid colors and contours.

Each garment is a piece of a story to be interpreted by the wearer first, and the viewer only conditionally.


And beware: Contradictions abound:

The fall/winter collection will be featured at the fourth edition of the Valencia Fashion Week this month.
